Stayed for 2 days over New Year’s Eve with 6 friends. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the 2 days. The owner was very accommodating and always ensured we felt at ease.

We stayed as a family of 5 (2 adults with 3 children plus a dog) in February at Villa Noho.
It was extraordinary! And unforgettable!
Starting from the unique and breathtaking panoramic view through the large living room window, over the huge garden towards the beautiful Lake Constance and the Swiss mountains; the more than spacious, beautiful apartment; the superbly equipped kitchen; the numerous leisure activities (gym with toys in the basement, wood and gas grill, SUPs, home cinema, trampoline, table tennis, volleyball, and badminton); the private beach with fire pits; and finally, the most attentive and friendly host, Martin, with his extremely warm family.
There are plenty of other excursion destinations nearby for both young and old, but with such an amazing accommodation, you hardly need them.
Both we adults and the children were completely satisfied (except for the children’s wish to move in 😉).
This place is balm for the soul, where you can fully enjoy with all your senses!
Our next vacation is already being planned.

Villa Noho is a dream, starting from the warm welcome by Martin, the owner (a truly kind-hearted person), to the location right on the lake with a private beach, dining area, and BBQ facilities directly by the water, to the cleanliness and tasteful décor of the house – everything was perfect.

Villa Noho in Nonnenhorn was a total surprise, even for frequent travelers.
We spent a week in the dreamlike villa with four people and a dog, with direct access to the lake.
The spacious layout of the villa and the excellent kitchen equipment fulfilled all our wishes.
A barbecue with a campfire on the lakeshore guarantees a truly unique experience.
The host, Martin Matthaes, was always a caring and friendly host, and thanks to his warm nature, we can truly call Villa Noho a gem on Lake Constance.
We all agreed: we’ll be back!

This is one of the best (if not the best) Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. It was incredibly wholesome – great hosts, beautiful location, stunning property, amazing outdoor setup for BBQs, beach fires, and paddleboards, a really well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and convenient for kids... really fantastic. We’re definitely recommending it to friends and family and are sure to visit again. Thank you!

We were able to celebrate our baby shower in Martin’s garden, and the location was the highlight of our party. We couldn’t have found a more beautiful place. We also stayed overnight at Villa Noho, and I must say, Martin thought of everything. The beautifully furnished apartment, full of antiques, was very large and impeccably clean. We felt very comfortable, and Martin was always available to answer any questions. He is a great host, and we will definitely return as soon as our little one is born.

What I am going to write, will not be enough to describe the new year holiday that we have spent.. . On the 1st row, Mr Martin the owner of the house and his family of course. Any detail needed or any welcoming needed is filled by him. Great owner, great friend and a great neighbour. . . On the 2nd row, what a location, what a view, what a garden and lake, amazing historical decoration. . . On the 3rd row, you can find anything you need in a house is ready. No need to carry something from your place.. . On the 4th row, super clean!!!. . 100/100. . Will be visited again :))

Dear Mr. Matthaes, we thoroughly enjoyed the four days at Villa Noho. We really liked the apartment: it is spacious, generously sized, tastefully and functionally furnished. It was spotlessly clean. The temperature in the rooms was pleasant. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We really liked the indirect lighting in the living room, and the sofa is very comfortable. We were particularly drawn to the combination of modern and older elements. The fact that the lawn is not perfectly trimmed gives the garden charm. The tall trees, the seating area at the lakefront, the view through the large living room windows onto the lake... Simply fantastic! And the fact that you provide the fitness room and sports equipment around the house makes the villa even more attractive... The piano urgently needs tuning. I hope it can still be saved because playing at this location is simply a dream for a musician! Being able to rent an apartment with a piano in a living room with such a view is absolutely magnificent. Please inform me when the piano has been tuned. Then I would love to come back to Nonnenhorn next winter. My husband and I thank you for this time and send our best regards.

We booked the accommodation for a vacation with friends and are more than thrilled. The owners of the villa are incredibly lovely hosts and made every effort to make our stay at Lake Constance unique. The interior layout is beautiful, with more than enough space for 6 adults and a dog, and an amazing view from a beautiful garden! Furthermore, everything is perfectly equipped, from the kitchen to leisure activities in the garden. We enjoyed it very much. It was very pleasant to have an accessible host who was friendly and helpful, providing information on local attractions and interesting places to visit. The wide view of sailboats and mountains is spectacular, as well as the accommodations filled with significant historical sculptures and artifacts. The kitchen is top-notch and equipped with every accessory imaginable. A popular bonus was having multiple bathrooms. This is an immaculate and elegant holiday apartment.

Beautiful property with direct private lake access - exactly as described. The owner was always available for us and very discreet at the same time. The six of us had a wonderful stay, and the girls thoroughly enjoyed their first vacation - the large garden is perfect for families with children and is a great place to relax.

We hope to return one day and be able to make use of the direct access to the lake. Unfortunately, it was quite windy during our stay. Additionally, we would like to request the room next to the study for our family next time. The girls tended to wake each other up at night.

The apartment is huge, excellently equipped (the kitchen, for instance, is top-notch!), and offers a wide range of activities (such as table tennis, badminton, surfing, stand-up paddling, and there's even a private fitness studio available). The location and the view are simply breathtaking. The landlord was very friendly, accommodating, and always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Although the garden is shared with the landlord's family, it is not at all a bothersome factor due to the overall relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and would book it again anytime!

Villa Noho, Bodensee-Nonnenhorn, we booked 1 week in early September with our family (4 adults, 2 children aged 3 and 10). Superb location on Lake Constance, situated between Wasserburg (Lindau) and Kressbronn (Langenargen/Friedrichshafen), opposite Switzerland. The view is breathtaking, with a wide playground surrounded by beautiful old trees. Rarely does a property offer such an unobstructed view of the lake, from the garden, terrace, and living room. Villa Noho is very well-equipped, whether in the kitchen, living room, on the terrace, or in the garden; everything was there, and everyone had a great time. We were thrilled with the many water and garden play equipment, as well as the numerous barbecue options and the 3 fire pits right on the beach. The landlord, as well as the landlord's family, were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. The landlord also offered us the opportunity to test various water sports equipment with his motorboat, which we gladly accepted. We took bike trips to Lindau and Friedrichshafen, which were easily manageable in terms of distance for everyone. In conclusion: highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

The house is so beautiful, very comfortable, fully equipped, with a large kitchen and everything you need. The courtyard has a large green area and overlooks the lake. It is the best place I have ever lived. And the price is affordable. The host was very enthusiastic. He personally took us on a long walk around the lake and showed us many picturesque places. He drank tea and chatted with us in the evening and took the initiative to add us on WeChat. I felt that the Germans were warm and hospitable and it was a very pleasant experience. The house is perfect, beyond what we could have ever dreamed of. We spent the most unforgettable and cozy Christmas at Villa Noho. The house is extremely clean and tidy. Martin had prepared everything needed in the kitchen, especially the Chinese wok for the Chinese guests.
