01 — Booking & Your Stay
How many guests can stay at Villa Noho?
Villa Noho in Nonnenhorn on Lake Constance offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 10 adults and 2 young children.
The ground floor has 4 cosy double bedrooms, sleeping 8 guests in total. An additional sleeping space for 2 guests is provided by a proper double bed (160 × 200 cm) in the fitness room on the lower ground floor.
For children under 3, we also provide 2 complimentary travel cots (60 × 120 cm). These can be positioned flexibly: Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 4 each have space for one travel cot, while Bedroom 2 and the lower ground floor each have space for two.
This makes Villa Noho particularly suitable for large families, families travelling together and holidays with several generations on Lake Constance.
Is the accommodation non-smoking?
Yes, Villa Noho is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors.
Smoking is allowed in the garden and on the private beach. You may also smoke on the covered terrace, but only when the sliding glass doors are fully open.
How do check-in and check-out work?
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is by 10 am.
Whenever the booking schedule allows, I am happy to offer my guests flexible arrival and departure times. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by arrangement. I can confirm this once the bookings immediately before and after your stay are finalised.
I usually welcome my guests personally, hand over the keys and show you around the holiday apartment, garden and private lake access.
If I am exceptionally unable to be there when you arrive, contactless check-in using a key box is also available. You will receive the access code in good time before your arrival.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay at Villa Noho on Lake Constance is generally 2 nights.
During periods of particularly high demand, such as the summer holidays, Christmas, New Year or Easter, the minimum stay may be 3 nights or more.
One-night stays are occasionally possible. If a single night remains available between two existing bookings, it may be booked on request as an exception.

How can I check whether Villa Noho is available?

You can also find Villa Noho on Booking.com and Airbnb. However, booking directly through our website is often cheaper, as there are no additional booking platform fees.

How are Villa Noho's prices calculated?
Prices at Villa Noho on Lake Constance are calculated dynamically and depend on your travel dates, demand, length of stay and number of guests.
Dedicated pricing software takes current demand and regional booking levels into account. Nightly rates may therefore vary according to the season and availability.
The base rate covers up to 4 guests and ranges from €250 to €900 per night, depending on your travel dates.
From the 5th guest onwards, we charge an additional €75 per person per night. Children under 2 stay free of charge.
The final cleaning fee (€200) and the applicable tourist tax are added separately. The statutory 7% VAT is already included.

What is included in the price at Villa Noho?
The price includes a wide range of amenities and services so you can enjoy a carefree stay:
- Bed linen, towels, beach towels, sauna towels and sauna bathrobes

- Charcoal and gas for the barbecue, plus firewood for the campfire and fireplace
- Parking spaces directly at the villa

All consumables are replenished regularly and are available at no extra charge.
How much is the tourist tax in Nonnenhorn?
The tourist tax in Nonnenhorn varies according to the season:
From 1 April to 31 October, it is €3.90 per day and per guest.
From 1 November to 31 March, it is €2.30 per day and per guest.
Children under 15 are exempt from the tourist tax.
What is the Echt Bodensee Card and what benefits does it offer?
As an overnight guest in Nonnenhorn, you receive the Echt Bodensee Card (EBC) once we have registered you as your hosts.
The card allows you to travel free of charge by bus and train within the designated transport area. It also offers numerous benefits at attractions and places to visit around Lake Constance.
Please check the area of validity and the conditions of each offer. No discounts are available for ferry crossings.

What is the cancellation policy?
The following cancellation policy applies to direct bookings at Villa Noho:
- Up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation with a full refund.
- Less than 14 days before arrival: a cancellation fee equal to the total booking price.
- In the event of a no-show: a no-show fee equal to the total booking price.
Our goodwill offer: If you need to cancel at short notice, I will try to rebook Villa Noho for the dates concerned. If the property is rebooked at the same or a higher price, I will refund the amount you originally paid in full. If it is rebooked at a lower price, I will refund the amount actually received from the replacement booking. If rebooking is not possible, no refund will be issued.
For additional peace of mind, I recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
The municipality of Nonnenhorn provides an information link to ERGO travel insurance, with no obligation to purchase. You can use it to find out about possible cover and costs.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs and cats are very welcome.
To cover the additional cleaning, we charge €20 per day per pet. For longer stays and/or multiple pets, I am happy to offer a discount and agree on a flat rate.
On arrival, your dogs will find a comfortable dog bed, a dog blanket and a small welcome surprise waiting for them.
Please understand that pets are not allowed on beds or sofas, so that future guests with allergies can also enjoy a comfortable stay.
What should I bring for my stay at Villa Noho?
You only need to bring a few things for your stay at Villa Noho on Lake Constance – the holiday apartment is already extensively equipped.
We particularly recommend water shoes, as the natural lakeside beach can be stony in places and there may be shells. They are also useful when cooling off in the lake after a sauna session.
Please also remember your clothing, swimwear and any medication you need.
You do not need to bring:
- Bed linen, towels, beach towels or sauna bathrobes
- Basic kitchen and bathroom supplies, including coffee, spices and cleaning products
- SUP boards, paddles or life jackets
- Barbecue accessories or fuel for the barbecue, fireplace and fire pit
- Baby equipment such as travel cots, high chairs and children's tableware
This allows you to travel with less luggage and greater comfort.
02 — Bedrooms, Bathrooms & Layout
How large is the holiday apartment?
The Villa Noho holiday apartment offers approximately 240 m² of living space.
Do guests have exclusive use of the holiday apartment?
Yes, the Villa Noho holiday apartment is entirely for your exclusive use throughout your stay. It is a separate apartment with its own entrance and direct access to the garden.
As your hosts, we live upstairs in a separate apartment with its own entrance.
We share the garden. However, the holiday apartment's terrace, the sauna and the seating area on the private beach are reserved exclusively for our guests.
How many floors does the holiday apartment occupy?
The holiday apartment is arranged over two floors:
Ground floor: living room, kitchen, dining room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate guest toilet.
Lower ground floor: fitness room with an additional sleeping space in a double bed (160 × 200 cm), another bathroom with a shower and a laundry room.
How are the rooms at Villa Noho arranged?
The ground floor contains the kitchen, living room, dining room, four double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. From here, you have direct access to the covered terrace and the garden with private lake access and a beach.
The lower ground floor contains the fitness room, another bathroom with a shower and the laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The fitness room also provides an additional sleeping space with a proper double bed (160 × 200 cm).
The terrace with a dining table for ten guests can be enclosed with large sliding glass doors. Two infrared heaters provide pleasant warmth on cooler days.
The terrace and barrel sauna are exclusively for your use. The sauna area also has a dedicated seating area with a round table, six chairs and a parasol. The garden and private beach are partly shared.
How many bedrooms are there at Villa Noho?
Villa Noho has four double bedrooms on the ground floor. The rooms are numbered as follows on the floor plan:
- Bedroom 1: 13 m² with a double bed (180 × 200 cm)
- Bedroom 2: 20 m² with a double bed (180 × 200 cm)
- Bedroom 3: 10 m² with a double bed (160 × 200 cm) and an en-suite bathroom with a shower
- Bedroom 4: 12 m² with a double bed (160 × 200 cm) and garden and lake views
On the lower ground floor, there is an additional sleeping space for two guests with a proper double bed (160 × 200 cm). There is also another bathroom with a shower on this floor.
Where are the bedrooms located?
Villa Noho's four bedrooms are furnished as double rooms and are all on the ground floor.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the same level as the entrance, kitchen, guest toilet, largest bathroom and dining room with a fireplace.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 are two steps lower, on the same level as the living room, terrace and garden.
The lower ground floor contains another bathroom with a shower and the fitness room. A proper double bed (160 × 200 cm) provides an additional sleeping space for two guests.
A portable ramp is available on request to bridge the two steps on the ground floor. If you are travelling with a wheelchair, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether the layout suits your needs.
How many bathrooms are there at Villa Noho?
Villa Noho has a total of three bathrooms and a separate guest toilet.
Two bathrooms are on the ground floor: one with a bathtub and shower, and one with a shower. The third bathroom, also with a shower, is on the lower ground floor, next to the fitness room.
Is Villa Noho suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Unfortunately, Villa Noho is not ideally suited to guests who use a wheelchair or have significant walking difficulties.
The main bathroom has a bathtub, while the smaller bathroom has a raised shower tray.
There is one step from the courtyard to the entrance, and two steps between the dining room and living room. These two steps can be bridged with a portable ramp if needed.
Access to the beach area involves four steps.
However, several guests using a walking frame have stayed at Villa Noho and felt comfortable without major difficulties.
Are the bedrooms air-conditioned?
Yes, all four bedrooms on the ground floor are equipped with high-quality inverter air-conditioning units. These keep the rooms pleasantly cool in summer and can also be used for heating when needed.
Are baby cots available, and which rooms can accommodate them?
Villa Noho provides two travel cots (60 × 120 cm). Depending on the room, they can be positioned as follows:
Bedroom 1: one cot
Bedroom 2: up to two cots
Bedroom 4: one cot
Additional sleeping space on the lower ground floor: up to two cots

03 — Right on Lake Constance
Where is Villa Noho located?
Villa Noho is located in Nonnenhorn on the Bavarian shore of Lake Constance, between Lindau and Friedrichshafen.
The address is: Uferstraße 27, 88149 Nonnenhorn.
This small wine-growing village is a lovely base for exploring the four-country region of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
How close is Villa Noho to Lake Constance?
Villa Noho is right on the lakeshore, with no road between the garden and Lake Constance.
Enjoy views of the water from the living room, terrace and garden. The lake is just a few steps away through the garden.
Does Villa Noho have private lake access?
Yes. A small staircase with four steps and a handrail leads from the garden to the private beach area and directly to Lake Constance.
This stretch of beach is accessible only through our garden. Guests can bathe, swim or simply relax by the water.
Sun loungers and a parasol are provided.
Does Villa Noho have a swimming pool?
Villa Noho does not have a swimming pool.
Instead, you can enjoy Lake Constance with private lake access directly from the property for bathing, swimming and water sports.
How peaceful is Villa Noho's location?
Villa Noho is in a quiet residential setting right on Lake Constance, surrounded by private homes.
During the peak season, the small Uferstraße is mainly used by cyclists. The garden and terrace are on the lakeside of the house.
The private beach area offers a peaceful retreat away from public bathing areas, where you can enjoy the lake in a relaxed atmosphere.
Which places can we visit nearby?
Some of the most popular places to visit near Villa Noho include the island town of Lindau, Bregenz with the Pfänder mountain and floating stage, Friedrichshafen with the Zeppelin Museum, as well as Meersburg, Konstanz and Mainau Island.

04 — Barrel Sauna with Lake Views
Is the barrel sauna exclusively for Villa Noho guests?
Yes. The barrel sauna is reserved exclusively for our guests.
It is located approximately 10 metres from the lakeshore and offers a lovely retreat with direct views of Lake Constance.
How many people can use the sauna at the same time?
The barrel sauna accommodates two people lying down or up to four people sitting.
Do I need to reserve the sauna or pay extra?
No. No reservation is required.
Use of the barrel sauna, towels and bathrobes is included in the accommodation price. There are no additional charges.
Are there places to cool off after the sauna?
After your sauna session, you can cool off in Lake Constance, use the outdoor shower or take a dip in the wooden ice-bath barrel.
How is the barrel sauna heated, and how long does it take to warm up?
The barrel sauna is heated by an electric sauna heater. It takes approximately 90 minutes to warm up.
A separate button allows you to programme the heating to start at your preferred time.
This is particularly convenient when returning from a day out and wanting to enjoy the sauna already warmed up.
Can you watch the sunset from the sauna?
Yes. Through the panoramic window overlooking Lake Constance, you can also enjoy the sunset, depending on the season and weather.
05 — “Komm und See”
When is the next “Komm und See” wine festival?
The next “Komm und See” wine festival will take place on 2 and 3 July 2027 – traditionally the first weekend in July.
• Friday, 2 July 2027: from 5 pm to midnight
• Saturday, 3 July 2027: from 2 pm to midnight
Who takes part in the “Komm und See” wine festival?
A total of 11 wineries welcome visitors to the “Komm und See” wine festival: 7 in Nonnenhorn, 2 in Wasserburg and 2 in Lindau.

All wineries open their courtyards, cellars and gardens to visitors, offering wine tastings, regional specialities and live music in a welcoming atmosphere.
How much does admission cost?
The most recent admission prices for the “Komm und See” wine festival were:
• Festival ticket (Friday & Saturday): €15
• Day ticket (Friday or Saturday): €10
These prices apply per person aged 16 and over.
Ticket prices for 2027 will be announced when advance sales begin.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively through online advance sales.
There are no ticket sales at the door – tickets cannot be purchased on site on the day of the event.

What should I keep in mind when buying tickets?
We recommend buying your tickets online early.
In both 2025 and 2026, tickets sold out quickly. Anyone who had not bought a ticket in advance was therefore unable to attend the festival.
Advance ticket sales for 2027 begin in March/April. As ticket numbers are limited, it is worth booking as soon as sales open.
How do I get to Nonnenhorn?
Nonnenhorn is situated directly on the Bavarian shore of Lake Constance, between Wasserburg and Kressbronn.
You can reach the village by car, train or bus.
Nonnenhorn railway station is centrally located in the village. From there, you can easily walk to Villa Noho and several participating wineries.
During the wine festival, free shuttle buses also connect the participating wineries in Nonnenhorn, Wasserburg and Lindau.
What are the benefits of staying at Villa Noho during the wine festival?
Villa Noho enjoys a peaceful location right on the lake, with a private beach, large garden, barrel sauna and a comfortable apartment arranged over two floors.
It is the ideal retreat for relaxing after an evening at the festival or enjoying a leisurely start to the day by the water.

How far is Villa Noho from the participating wineries?
From Villa Noho, you can reach Nonnenhorn village centre in approximately five minutes on foot.
From there, cross the railway tracks to reach Sonnenbichlstraße, where five of Nonnenhorn's seven participating wineries are located.
The other two participants are on Conrad-Forster-Straße and Seehalde.
During the wine festival, free shuttle buses connect the participating wineries in Nonnenhorn, Wasserburg and Lindau.
06 — Amenities
What amenities are provided at Villa Noho?
Villa Noho is extensively equipped so you can relax and enjoy your stay.
Bed linen, towels, sauna towels, beach towels and bathrobes are provided.
A wide range of everyday supplies is also available, including soap, shampoo, shower gel, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee and various teas.
You will also find dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid and laundry detergent for the washing machine.
Many everyday essentials are therefore already provided, so you do not need to bring them with you.
Which household appliances are available at Villa Noho?
For a comfortable stay, you have access to a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, iron, vacuum cleaner and hairdryer.
Is the kitchen fully equipped, and which appliances are available?
Villa Noho's kitchen is fully and extensively equipped – for quick breakfasts, cooking together and relaxed evening meals.
Appliances include a dishwasher, electric hob, microwave and large fridge with a freezer compartment. A kettle, toaster, egg cooker, bread slicer and blender for smoothies and shakes are also provided.
For coffee, you can choose between a Nespresso machine, moka pot and filter coffee machine. The SodaStream allows you to make fresh sparkling water.
A waffle/crêpe maker, wok and a wide selection of pots and pans are also available. The kitchen additionally includes cooking utensils, a salad spinner, grater, oyster opener, tin opener and other useful accessories.
There are, of course, plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery, including children's tableware and cutlery. White wine glasses, red wine glasses and champagne flutes are also provided.
Is there a home cinema at Villa Noho, and how does it work?
Yes – the 4K home cinema is in the ground-floor living room, right next to the grand piano. The projector displays the image on a large wall.
The connected Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K allows you to sign in with your own streaming accounts and use services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+.
A DVD player with an HDMI cable and a large selection of films are also available.
The modular sofa can be arranged into a cosy cinema seating row. A powerful Bluetooth speaker provides the sound.
The speaker is portable and battery-powered, so you can also use it for quiet background music in the garden.
Are bed linen and towels included at Villa Noho?
Yes – bed linen, towels, sauna towels, beach towels and bathrobes are included in the price.
Everything is freshly prepared for your arrival.
Are barbecue facilities available, and what is included in the price?
Yes – a charcoal barbecue, gas barbecue and grilling plate (1 m in diameter) are available.
Charcoal, gas and barbecue utensils are provided and included in the price.
Is firewood provided for the fireplace and fire bowl?
Firewood, fire-lighting materials and marshmallow roasting skewers are provided free of charge for the fireplace and fire bowl.
Which sports and leisure facilities can be used free of charge?
Villa Noho offers a wide range of sports and leisure facilities free of charge.
These include eight SUP boards with paddles and life jackets, a 6-metre floating water mat and a large trampoline (5 m in diameter).
In the garden, you will also find a double gymnastics bar, beach tennis, volleyball and badminton sets, and a table tennis table.
The fitness room and games in the house offer further opportunities for exercise and spending time together.
Are parking spaces and electric car charging facilities available nearby?
Three free parking spaces directly in front of the house are available.
At Nonnenhorn railway station, approximately 500 metres away, there are two public charging stations for electric vehicles.
There is also a socket for charging e-bikes in our bicycle garage.
Is Villa Noho suitable for families with children?
Yes – Villa Noho is a family-friendly holiday apartment on Lake Constance, with plenty of space for spending time together.
For our younger guests, we provide two travel cots (60 × 120 cm), two high chairs, children's tableware and cutlery, and bathroom step stools.
Baby equipment also includes an Angelcare nappy bin that locks away unpleasant odours and a baby bathtub that can be placed inside the full-sized bathtub.
Inside, there are games and family board games, as well as an indoor play area in the fitness room.
The large garden offers plenty of room to play and numerous leisure activities, including a volleyball/beach tennis net, SUP boards, a trampoline and a table tennis table.
Are Wi-Fi and television available at Villa Noho?
Yes – Villa Noho provides free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
The high-speed internet connection is also suitable for video calls and online meetings.
Wi-Fi coverage extends into the garden and to the private beach area, so you can browse the internet or stream music outdoors too.
