The sun slowly sets behind Lake Constance, its golden light shining right through the branches in our fire basket, ready to be lit as night falls.
The calm water, the warm evening glow, and the driftwood logs along the shore create a peaceful atmosphere – the perfect beginning to a tranquil evening by the lake.

Halloween vibes at Villa Noho! 🎃
In the garden, a skeleton lies half-covered by autumn leaves. Behind it, giant pumpkin spiders glow alongside others with wobbling, tongue-sticking faces.
At the entrance to Villa Noho, illuminated ceramic pumpkins cast their warm light.
Every year, it’s our tradition for our four daughters to gather with their friends on the lakefront terrace to carve the most beautiful pumpkins together.

A postcard-perfect sunset
An intense, fiery-red sunset over the Swiss Alps – no Photoshop needed.
The light reflects on Lake Constance, painting a golden trail across the water, just as a sailboat glides through it.
A moment of perfect timing, captured as nature and tranquility merge in complete harmony.

Normally, there’s just one large table with eight chairs on the terrace.
However, for a special occasion, we brought over the table from the beach terrace as well.
This allowed us to comfortably accommodate eleven guests – both inside the house and on the terrace – thanks to the extra chairs and the inflatable beds, which can be used in the fitness room when needed.

The glass front of the terrace glows in the warm light of the setting sun, sinking right before our eyes over Lake Constance.
On the white exterior wall hang pieces of driftwood, carried here by the currents of the Rhine and washed ashore on our private beach – each one a small natural artwork, shaped by water, wind, and time.

A golden October day at the private swimming bay of Villa Noho:
In the photo, you can see our 6-meter-long water mat, enthusiastically enjoyed by our Swiss guests. In the background, the Nonnenhorn sailing school is in action.

Every time the “Austria” – to me, the largest and most majestic ship of the White Fleet – passes by Villa Noho and approaches the Nonnenhorn pier, it’s a truly special moment.
Especially when the lake is calm and mirror-like, and only the gentle waves created by the ship ripple across the surface.
A beautiful sight to behold.

On the private beach of Villa Noho, guests can choose between lighting a vertical bonfire or using a fire bowl. The former – handcrafted by a local blacksmith – creates a spectacular play of sparks, while the fire bowl is perfect for roasting marshmallows.
As you sit comfortably by the crackling fire, watching the sunset over the lake, you won’t feel the slightest chill.

Starting now, our guests at Villa Noho can enjoy coffee in three different ways:
An Italian moka pot for a traditional, rich coffee experience, a Nespresso machine with milk frother for perfect espresso, cappuccino, or latte macchiato, and a filter coffee machine for those who love to savor their coffee slowly in a large mug.

An unforgettable moment.
Recently, we had the joy of witnessing something truly special – a romantic marriage proposal right by Lake Constance, under the open sky!
She said “YES” ;-)
We are so happy and proud that our garden became the setting for this unique moment – a place where lifelong memories are made.
Villa Noho is also the perfect venue to celebrate special occasions in an intimate, family-like atmosphere – ideal for groups of up to 30 people.

Beachfire Evenings – the special charm of Villa Noho on Lake Constance.

An unforgettable family trip to Golm in Montafon (Vorarlberg), just about an hour from Villa Noho.
We took the cable car all the way to the top, then glided down the mountain on the spectacular aluminium slides – up to 60 metres long!
The final stretch into the valley we covered on the 2.8 km summer toboggan run, a huge amount of fun for both young and old.
A trip I can wholeheartedly recommend to all guests of Villa Noho.

Summer evenings on Lake Constance:
the sun sets directly behind the green peninsula of Langenargen in Baden-Württemberg – a spectacular play of colours that can be admired every evening from Villa Noho.
On our one-meter-wide grill plate, cooking together becomes an experience:
from grilled vegetables and spicy sausages to fresh Lake Constance fish such as whitefish or pike-perch, all the way to juicy steaks or a tomahawk – everything enjoyed right by the lake.

Finally, sunshine again!
After many rainy days, our garden is shining in all its glory:
the volleyball court is ready for a match, our table by the beach with its parasol invites you to relax, the SUP boards are waiting by the shore – and in the background, the blue waters of Lake Constance sparkle in the sun.
Even the Swiss Alps, with Mount Säntis, can be seen in the distance.
We’re looking forward to many more sunny days!

Another special day at Villa Noho!
White tables set in the garden, right next to our private beach – that’s what a wedding at Villa Noho looks like. In June 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting another beautiful celebration.
Villa Noho is the ideal place for intimate private events – whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, birthday party, baby shower, or a romantic marriage proposal. The villa offers the perfect setting for unforgettable moments with up to 30 guests.
We attach great importance to respect for our surroundings: our house rules are designed to protect the peace of our neighbours and hotel guests. After midnight, no loud music may be played – but the evening can continue peacefully by the campfire, with soft background music and good conversations.

Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet in Wasserburg on Lake Constance
This weekend, Wasserburg on Lake Constance transformed into a colorful spectacle full of tradition and joy! Various carnival guilds celebrated Fasnet with their impressive masks—ranging from friendly to fearsome. Our collage showcases the fascinating diversity of hand-carved wooden masks, reflecting the essence of the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet. An unforgettable experience for everyone who had the chance to witness the magic of this centuries-old tradition up close!
